Clients come to Brain Spectrum Neuropsychology to gain clarity on their own or their child’s diagnosis. Quite often, a child or teen is also referred for testing because of escalating behavior problems at home or in school. Frequent temper tantrums, emotional meltdowns, aggression, or episodes of self-harm are some behaviors that can trigger a referral.

At Brain Spectrum Neuropsychology, we believe that accurate diagnosis is the first step in developing an effective treatment plan.
We conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations with the goal of providing you with diagnostic clarity. Dr. Thurlow has been conducting complex assessments of children, teens, and adults with multiple diagnoses and co-occurring profiles for many years and she understands the complicated nature of the human psyche.
This is not a quick process. Our psychological evaluations are detailed, and they involve cognitive testing, personality assessment, in-depth clinical interviewing, and behavioral observations.
How Can a Psychological Evaluation Benefit You or Your Family Member?

If you or your child is diagnosed with a behavioral, emotional, or more complex multi-faceted issue, Dr. Thurlow will discuss these diagnoses with you during a feedback session. She will also offer evidence-based recommendations and provide treatment referrals upon request.
You will also be provided with a comprehensive report of the results.
